Here a few skincare that can help you get the most out of skin care and have healthy looking skin.
Caring for your skin on a consistent basis is where you get the results. It's not always the brand of product but the products that is suitable for your skin type and using the products on a consistent basis. Use your products for at least 4 weeks to start seeing results. 12 weeks to see dramatic changes.
- Get to know your skin type - Knowing your skin type will help you in the better selection of skin care products. For example, oily acne skin needs ingredients that contains no oil more actives & extracts or less in oil or oils/emollient suitable for oily skin. Benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid are good for acne.
- Keep skin clean - Cleansing your face day and night are essential to keep skin free from dirt, oil, grime. A clean palette can help skin looking bright, youthful, and even-toned. Keep acne and other skin issues at bay. Also, your moisturizer goes on smoothly and able to penetrate the skin and work it's magic when you clean your skin. Clean your skin 2x's a day every day!
- Don't apply too many products! - A few skin care products can go a long way. Your basics consist of cleanser, toner, serum, and moisturizer. I would include a clay mask or scrub every 2 to 3 days. Other than that, you do not need 12 products a day. Exaggerating a little but you get what I am saying. The skin care industry can go overboard with skin care influencers saying and doing all kinds of things related to skin care. Be careful not to use to many, too many products can dry out your face, cause irritation, and breakouts.
- Check expired products. Make sure your products are up to date and not expired. Most skin care ingredients expire after 12 months. So, check the products expiration date to get the best use of your skin care.
