Keeping Your Face Fresh and Clean – Moisturizer
Share
Heyyyy beauties!
So, I have been sharing this series with you called "Fresh and Clean." The goal is to share with you the benefits in taking care of the skin and why. Each step provided you with the benefits and what you can expect if applied on a consistent basis. Now, I know you want flawless, healthy, fresh and clean skin, RIGHT?! I hear ya saying saying and seeing you nod your head :)
So, the last basic step we are going to talk about is using a moisturizer. I like to call the moisturizer "the sealer." Why you ask? Because it SEALS the deal! Using a moisturizer seals up everything you just done to your skin. It brings in all the benefits of cleansing, exfoliating, and toning. It balances it allll out for a fresh, healthy look or I like to say palette.
Moisturizing the skin balance the dryness and oil of the skin. It evens it out. Using a moisturizer can reduces skin problems that may come up such as acne. Now, if your skin is more on the drier side, use a cream that is good for that skin type. If you are more on the oily side, look for a lotion with less oil. This works best for my oily skin beauties (I'm right with you).
Okay, let's see what the other moisturizing benefits are:
- Helps reduce the appearance of blemishes. Freshly moisturize skin can help even out existing blemishes.
- Boost the hydration of your skin. Giving you the proper hydration you need based on your skin type.
- Prevents flaking and dullness of the skin. After cleansing, you want to make sure you care for the problems area of flaking and dullness. Moisturizing, helps the flakes to heal and disappear and makes your skin radiant and healthy looking.
- Creates a protective layer of moisture that last all day. This helps the skin to be protected from our environment and give the nourishment that you need.
- Moisturizing will help fine lines and fight wrinkles. A moisturize faced helps your skin "stay in place." You will have firmer, plumped looking skin as you properly moisturize your skin on a regular basis. Keeps skin from looking saggy.
- Moisturizing helps your skin stay youthful. The face, neck, ears, and chest are the most sensitive areas than any parts of our body. This daily loss of skin cells leaves these areas vulnerable to the dryness and the elements. They are highest-risk areas for skin cancer. Moisturizing can help give your sensitive skin the boost it needs to repair itself and stay healthy. Providing the protection from the sun (if your moisturizer have SPF benefits) and environment. Some moisturizers can even provide the proper vitamins like A & E and nutrients.
